Seismic Exchange, Inc. (SEI®) was founded in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana by P.C. Havens to fill a growing demand in the market for quality seismic data. SEI is a full service national seismic data marketing company whose strength is derived from its competent management team and aggressive marketing representatives.

Over the years, SEI has expanded considerably and has opened additional offices located in key markets nationwide. Currently, SEI owns and markets over 1,850,000 miles of superior quality onshore 2D seismic data, which makes SEI one of the largest licensing data brokers. SEI’s expertise in licensing seismic data has also earned its appointment as prime broker for over 170 exploration companies.

In the years to come SEI will continue to focus its efforts on quality research and development and effective management of our 2D and 3D seismic databases.
